Many people ask us what is wrong with their Travelers and if they are defective.
And the answer is: NO.
The covers are made of natural leather and like all leather products, they need maintenance as they crack, scratch and dry out quite easily.
Also, if you are one of those people who carries it with them everywhere, it is much easier to touch and the color wears off faster.
BUT, we have an old grandmother's remedy that is a godsend.
When does my Traveler's need this maintenance?
When you see a dull color, streaks, etc., it is time to cover it with cream.
And the best option is the typical Nivea, which is thick, greasy and ideal for restoring leather.
What you will need
- Your Traveler's
- Nivea Cream
- Cotton or cloth
- Kitchen paper
Step by step
1st. We apply the cream evenly over the entire sheath and let it sit for a bit so that it absorbs well and rehydrates.
2nd. After 1 minute, spread well and finally remove the excess fat and any lint that may have remained with a kitchen napkin✨
It is something super simple but worth doing for the result and how beautiful the newly hydrated skin looks.
